Worst Writing Advice I've ever received

I’m actually gonna pass on this one… I don’t think the person that gave me the advice actually reads my stuff anymore, but in a circle of friends it would be really obvious who said it, so I’m just gonna plead the fifth. I don’t want to offend other mutuals because I respect and value their opinions. But I will say, I decided to ignore the advice.  I may not be a ‘bestseller,’ but I have pride in my work, the appearance of my book covers, and I’m happy with the decisions I made for myself as a writer.
